Under Elma High Realm, we started up an early childhood development center called, Jesus For All – JFA Early Childhood Development Center. Our Inspiration stemed from the scripture; “Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of heaven.”
JFA is a mixed, day early childhood education centre located 2km from Katiiti trading centre, in Kalasa Parish, Luweero District– one of the rural districts of Uganda. The school is premised on the aspiration for establishing lifelong childhood learning. JFA is a non-discriminatory School, as it offers opportunities to Catholics, Protestants and Muslim Children, however it is Christian based and we put emphasis on daily prayer and reading of scripture.
BRIEF HISTORY
This vision was birthed at the end of 2017 when the Director was part of a church team that went to do a crusade mission in the Katiiti village and God gave the guidance to start it.
It was opened in February 2018 following an evaluation of the area that noted among others that there are few pre-primary schools in the area and they are noticeably dilapidated with very minimum standards, being a semi-rural area.
To support the early learning community in building a credible foundation for the children.
To empower pupils to value knowledge which will support them as lifelong learners to participate in different environments.
The school was strategically set for the ages 3 to 7 to enable us lay a firm foundation for our learners on which we shall gradually continue building. The school also offers free education to orphaned children, and each admission is decided case by case. The Centre has come a long way from its humble beginnings and currently has 115 pupils with an expected growth rate of at least 70 %.
The school is registered under EMIS number 20393 which is a permanent reference for the school by the Ministry of education, and a school licence MOES/ECD/JFA/N/2020/LO/052 and Registration Certificate Number LDLG/ECD/JFA/N/2022/LO/066.
All our energies are geared at becoming a well organized comprehensive educational institution that fosters sustainable learning in a safe and secure environment. We hope to attain land, set up permanent structures, and be able to have a boarding section for the under privileged children and orphans.
